EduCare
The Prarthana Foundation, in collaboration with Sansco Technologies (Oppo Mobiles) proudly introduces the EduCare Program. This initiative is designed to empower underprivileged students by providing access to quality education and essential learning resources. EduCare goes beyond conventional support; it aims to inspire a love for learning, foster curiosity, and create future opportunities. With the generous contributions of Sansco and Oppo, the program offers scholarships, digital learning tools, and mentorship, creating an inclusive and supportive environment. Together, we’re making a meaningful difference in young lives, building a foundation for a brighter tomorrow where every child can reach their full potential.
Our other Educational Support Activities
School Van Support
In response to the request from parents of Cottolengo Vocational Special School, North Paravur, the Prarthana Foundation with the CSR of OPPO Educare provided a school van to cater to the transportation needs of the students. A brand new van was handed over to the ParentTeacher Association of the school, ensuring safe and convenient transportation for the students.
School Kitchen Setup
Prarthana Foundation assisted Government Boy's High School in N. Paravur by sponsoring the complete set of utensils required to set up a kitchen in the school. This initiative enables the school to prepare healthy and nutritious meals, promoting the overall wellbeing of the students.
Training For Employment
In collaboration with Khadi Vidyala, the Prarthana Foundation established a skill development centre in North Paravur. This centre, equipped with modern facilities and solar power, provides training to youth with special needs and women in various skills. Additionally, the centre offers self-employment support and free space for women engaged in entrepreneurial activities. Skill council certification and placement support are also provided to the trainees
Educational Support
The Prarthana Foundation aims to support students of all abilities. While it is common to support academically strong students, we also provide assistance to weak students. We cover tuition and coaching fees and provide study materials to support their academic journey. As a result of our support, one beneficiary secured admission on merit for Dental Science in 2022. In collaboration with Malayala Manorama daily, we provided free newspapers to 30 financially disadvantaged students at Ezhikkara Government School for three months, promoting reading habits and exam preparation.
Recreating The Atmosphere Of Anganawadis
Recognising the importance of providing quality care for young children, Prarthana Foundation renovated and modernised the anganwadis in our service area. We supplied toys and created a child-friendly environment, including an air-conditioned anganwadi with walls adorned with colourful cartoons.
EduCare: All Kind Of Educational Support
The Prarthana Foundation's EduCare project focuses on providing comprehensive educational support to students. This includes career guidance sessions, motivational sessions for students and parents, mentoring programmes, counselling sessions, and economic support to fulfil various educational needs. Our goal is to empower students and provide them with the necessary resources to excel in their education and future endeavours.
