Renovated Garden And Park

At Government Ayurveda Hospital, N.Paravur - Prarthana Foundation has undertaken the renovation of the garden, creating a serene and beautiful park for the benefit of patients and visitors. The park is adorned with herbal and floral plants, providing a soothing environment. We are committed to maintaining the park and ensuring that patients and bystanders have access to comfortable sitting and relaxing facilities.

Green Tray

Exploring Village Tourism and Agricultural heritage In partnership with Gandhi Smarak Grama Seva Kendram, the Prarthana Foundation has established a tourist information centre focused on agriculture and heritage. Spanning one acre of land, this centre serves as a hub for training in farming activities and showcases traditional and modern agricultural methods. The initiative aims to promote responsible tourism by encouraging visitors to explore and appreciate the unique aspects of village life. As part of this project, a community museum is also under development to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Deshasoochakam: Promoting Kerala's Unique Flag Bearers

In collaboration with Gandhi Smarak Grama Seva Kendram and with the support of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), we organised a 7-day exhibition in June–July 2022 at Changampuzha Park in Ernakulam. The exhibition showcased the region's intangible heritage and products with Geographical Indication (GI) tags, celebrating the local artisans and their unique creations. Building on this initiative, we have established the "Desha Soochakam" shop—a first-of-its-kind in Kerala— where visitors can access and purchase 36 GI products from Kerala under a single window. The shop is expected to become a gateway for both domestic and foreign tourists, providing them with an authentic experience of Kerala's diverse cultural offerings. Additionally, a country kitchen, millet cultivation, and a pavilion for traditional arts are being developed on this one-acre land along the N. Paravur-Ernakulam shortcut road.
